Today sees the launch of the first ever manifesto for children of alcoholics at the House of Commons.
The hard-hitting manifesto, published to coincide with International Children of Alcoholics Week, sets out a 10-point plan to help Britain’s 2.6 million innocent victims of drink – the children of hard-drinking parents.

If today's rise in extremism can be traced back to two overlapping crisis; a crisis of ideology, and a crisis of identity, then it is vital we work our way through the crisis of ideology, and in Europe, map the overlap between both Islam and the values set out in the European Convention on Human Rights. This is what my report for the Council of Europe seeks to do.
